If you do not settle for less, there is a hunger for more.
God wants us to have an attitude of emptying ourselves and have space for Him. If we want to continue possessing His promises, we will need to grow and multiply.
Things That can hinder us from progress:
1st Peter 5:6-10
1. Pride- when we have succeeded, it is easy for pride to creep in. Woe unto you when the Lord resists you. Humility is not tested by people. Humility is attained by dwelling in the presence of God
2. Worry- we cast all your cares to the Lord. God responds in a caring way and gives you peace
3. Laziness- Be sober, be vigilant. Laziness in prayers exposes us to the attacks of the devil
4. Self-pity- many are the affliction of the righteous. Resist steadfastly by faith.
